It holds the vinyl flooring in place and seals it to the waste, keeping the installation watertight.

This is the adaptor on its own (25107), without a trapped waste. It is ideal as a replacement part, or where you already have a GW50 or GW19 waste. If you need the adaptor and waste together, choose the TFWA with GW50 waste (25124) or the TFWA with GW19 waste (25129).

The two-part design opens from above for installation and lets you clean and rod the waste from the floor.

Key features & benefits

Waste adaptor ring for AKW Tuff Form formers

For vinyl floors only – clamps and seals the vinyl

Takes AKW GW50 or GW19 trapped wastes

Opens from above for installation and cleaning

Adaptor only – waste not included

Do I need the adaptor only?

Buy the adaptor only if you are replacing a damaged ring or already have a compatible GW50 or GW19 waste. For a new installation it is usually simpler to buy the adaptor and waste together. For tiled floors choose a stainless steel TFWA instead. Still unsure? Our complete guide to AKW wet room wastes explains how to choose by floor finish and depth below the former, and our team can check your layout on 0333 772 4162.

The TFWA is a popular choice for care homes and accessible bathrooms because the two-part design makes routine cleaning simple: the waste is reached from the floor surface, so staff can clear hair and soap residue without tools or specialist help. Because the vinyl is clamped mechanically rather than relying on sealant alone, the joint between floor and waste stays watertight even as the floor is mopped and cleaned daily.

Sizes & product codes

Product

AKW code

EAN

AKW Tuff Form Waste Adaptor TFWA for Vinyl Floors – Adaptor Only

25107

5055295106895

Technical specification

Product

Tuff Form Waste Adaptor (TFWA)

AKW code

25107

Floor finish

Vinyl only

Compatible wastes

AKW GW50 and GW19 (not included)

Range

AKW Tuff Form

Frequently asked questions

Is a trap included?

No, this is the adaptor only.

Can I use it with tiles?

No – for tiled floors use the stainless steel TFWA.

Which waste is better, GW50 or GW19?

GW50 has a deeper 50mm water seal; GW19 needs less depth.
