Kartell quote the output at Δt60, a standard test temperature. Many modern boilers, and especially heat pumps, run cooler than that, so the heat you actually get may be lower than the figure shown.

Fitting

Newark is supplied with everything needed to fix it to the wall, and is pressure tested up to 13 bar. Valves are sold separately – chrome valves will match; see our towel radiator valves.

The pipe connections are at the bottom of each upright, 462mm apart on both sizes (the “tapping centres”). If you are replacing an existing towel rail, measure between your pipes first – if the spacing does not match, the pipework will need adjusting. Make sure the wall can take the weight once the rail is full of water and towels: solid walls are straightforward, but stud and plasterboard walls need suitable heavy-duty fixings or a timber support behind the board.

Looking after the finish

Wipe over with a soft, damp cloth and dry to avoid water marks.
