The AKW Braddan 1000x1000mm is a large square shower tray that provides a genuinely spacious showering experience without stepping up to a rectangular format. At a full metre square, it's the largest square size in the Braddan range and is particularly well suited to family bathrooms, master en-suites, and care environments where extra room to manoeuvre is beneficial — whether for a standing user or a carer assisting from the side.

Made from durable GRP with integral reinforcement, the Braddan supports up to 190.5kg (30 stone) and features a slip-resistant surface as standard. At just 40mm high, it can be surface mounted for a low step-in threshold, semi-recessed for a 20mm threshold, or fully recessed into the floor for complete level access — making it suitable for the full range of domestic and accessibility projects.

No under-tray foaming is required, keeping installation clean and straightforward. The non-handed design works for both left and right-hand layouts. Tiling upstands are included as standard to ensure a watertight finish between the tray and wall tiles. Optional 20mm and 40mm ramp kits are available for semi-recessed or surface-mounted installations.

This pack includes a TDTW 50 White ABS Plastic Gravity Waste (Code 25126), which features a built-in filter, secure 50mm threaded fitting, and 124mm depth below tray.
