The AKW Braddan 1300x820mm offers an excellent combination of generous length and a wider-than-standard depth, making it a popular choice for larger accessible bathrooms and care environments. At 1300mm long and 820mm wide, it provides a spacious showering area with more room than the 1300x700mm — the extra 120mm of width makes a real difference to comfort and manoeuvrability, particularly where carer assistance is required alongside the user.

Made from durable GRP with integral reinforcement, the Braddan supports up to 190.5kg (30 stone) and features a slip-resistant surface as standard. At just 40mm high, it can be surface mounted for a low step-in threshold, semi-recessed for a 20mm threshold, or fully recessed into the floor for complete level access — making it suitable for the full range of domestic and accessibility projects.

No under-tray foaming is required, keeping installation clean and straightforward. The non-handed design works for both left and right-hand layouts. Tiling upstands are included as standard to ensure a watertight finish between the tray and wall tiles. Optional 20mm and 40mm ramp kits are available for semi-recessed or surface-mounted installations.

This pack includes a TDTW 50 White ABS Plastic Gravity Waste (Code 25126), which features a built-in filter, secure 50mm threaded fitting, and 124mm depth below tray.
