The AKW Braddan 1000x800mm is a versatile rectangular shower tray that strikes an excellent balance between a generous showering area and a footprint that works across a wide range of bathroom layouts. At 1000mm long and 800mm wide, it offers noticeably more room than a standard 800x800mm square tray while still fitting comfortably into alcove and corner installations — making it one of the most adaptable sizes in the Braddan range.

Made from durable GRP with integral reinforcement, the Braddan supports up to 190.5kg (30 stone) and features a slip-resistant surface as standard. At just 40mm high, it can be surface mounted for a low step-in threshold, semi-recessed for a 20mm threshold, or fully recessed into the floor for complete level access — making it equally suitable for standard domestic bathrooms and accessibility-focused projects.

No under-tray foaming is required, keeping installation clean and straightforward. The non-handed design works for both left and right-hand layouts. Tiling upstands are included as standard to ensure a watertight finish between the tray and wall tiles. Optional 20mm and 40mm ramp kits are available for semi-recessed or surface-mounted installations.

This pack includes a TDTW 50 White ABS Plastic Gravity Waste (Code 25126), which features a built-in filter, secure 50mm threaded fitting, and 124mm depth below tray.
