Which type of toilet do you need?

• Close coupled toilets — the most common style in UK homes. The cistern sits directly on the pan, making installation straightforward and replacement simple.
• Back to wall toilets — the pan sits flush against the wall or a furniture unit, hiding the cistern and pipework for a tidier finish.
• Wall hung toilets — mounted on a concealed frame with nothing touching the floor. The easiest style to clean around and the most space-efficient in a small room.
• Comfort height toilets — a raised pan height that's easier to sit down on and stand up from, useful for taller users and anyone with limited mobility.

Rimless or standard?

Rimless pans do away with the hidden rim where limescale and bacteria normally collect, so they wipe clean in a fraction of the time. Most modern ranges now offer a rimless option, and it's worth the small premium if cleaning is a priority.

Don't forget the extras

A pan on its own usually isn't the complete picture. Depending on the style you choose you may also need a cistern, a toilet seat, or a concealed cistern frame. Many of our toilets let you add these directly on the product page.
