Toilet seats

Seats are not universal. Measure the width at its widest, the length from hinge holes to front edge, and the distance between hinge hole centres — usually around 150mm. Knowing the pan's make and model is far more reliable. Soft close stops the lid cracking the pan over years; quick release lets you unclip it to clean properly. See toilet seats.

Flush controls

Flush plates operate a concealed cistern and are matched to the cistern brand — a Geberit plate will not fit a Kartell cistern. Push buttons sit on a close coupled cistern lid and are matched to the flush valve, not the toilet.

Accessibility

Raising plinths lift an existing pan to comfort height without replacing it — useful where needs have changed and a refit is not practical. Pair with grab rails.
