Bath Panels

A bath panel closes off the side of the bath, hiding the frame and pipework and finishing the installation. It is easy to overlook when ordering a bath, and just as easy to end up without one.

Front or end panel?

A front panel runs the long side of the bath and matches its length — 1700mm for a standard bath. An end panel covers the short side, typically 700mm or 800mm, and is only needed where one end of the bath is exposed rather than against a wall.

Matching your bath

Panels are sized to the bath, so order to match: a 1700mm bath takes a 1700mm front panel. Most can be trimmed slightly at the base to suit uneven floors, but not shortened lengthways by any meaningful amount.

Materials and finishes

Acrylic panels match the bath itself and resist water well. MDF and furniture-finish panels in gloss white, matt grey or wood effect let you tie the bath into a vanity unit for a coordinated look, though they need care to keep water off the cut edges.
