Kartell K-VIT Koncept Quadrant Shower Enclosure – Chrome (All Sizes)
Sale price £233.75 Regular price £425.00Unit price
A quadrant enclosure has a curved front across a corner, with sliding or hinged doors following the curve. It is the most space-efficient way to fit a shower into a corner, and the curve keeps a walkway clear.
Sizing
800x800mm is compact and suits a small bathroom or en-suite. 900x900mm is the standard and noticeably more comfortable. Below 800mm a quadrant becomes tight for an adult to turn in.
Measure both wall runs from the corner at floor level, and check the walls are reasonably square — a corner that is out of true causes more problems with a quadrant than with a straight enclosure.
Match the tray radius
This is the detail that catches people out. Quadrant trays are made with a specific corner radius, and the enclosure must match it. Mixing an enclosure and tray from different manufacturers is risky — buy them together where possible. See our quadrant shower trays.
Offset alternative
If you have more length on one wall than the other, an offset quadrant gives more showering room while keeping the curved front.
Glass
6mm is standard, 8mm feels more substantial. Curved glass panels are heavier than flat ones, so the rollers and hardware do more work — worth paying for quality.
