Astley is Kartell's traditional range, and its accessories carry the same period styling as the Astley close coupled toilet and Astley 2 tap hole basin: round stepped backplates and a polished chrome finish. Choose pieces from the set to give the whole room a matching look.

An open-ended chrome toilet roll holder – the roll simply slides on from the open side, with nothing to unclip or spring-load.

Choosing and using it

The open design is the quickest to change a roll on and is easy for children and older users. It is listed by Kartell at 180mm long and 80mm wide. If you would rather the roll is held at both ends, choose the Astley Toilet Roll Holder (ACC146) instead.

Fitting

The usual position is around 600–700mm from the floor and slightly in front of the toilet pan, within easy reach of someone seated. Check the open end faces the way you want before fixing.

Kartell supply fixings with it. Before drilling, check they suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking.
