Kartell K-VIT Astley Robe Hook – Chrome (ACC142)

Kartell K-VIT Astley Robe Hook – Chrome (ACC142)

Astley is Kartell's traditional range, and its accessories carry the same period styling as the Astley close coupled toilet and Astley 2 tap hole basin: round stepped backplates and a polished chrome finish. Choose pieces from the set to give the whole room a matching look.

A chrome robe hook for a dressing gown, robe or towel – the simplest way to add hanging space to a bathroom or the back of a door.

Choosing and using it

It is a compact piece, listed by Kartell at 55 x 100mm, so it fits beside a door frame, next to the shower or between tiles where a towel bar will not. Fitting two or three in a row gives each member of the household their own.

Fitting

Robe hooks are usually fitted at about 1600–1800mm from the floor so a long robe hangs clear of the floor. If you are fixing to the back of a door, check the screw length against the door thickness – hollow internal doors need short screws or a specialist fixing.

Kartell supply fixings with it. Before drilling, check they suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking.
