Kartell K-VIT Astley Soap Dish – Chrome (ACC144)

Kartell K-VIT Astley Soap Dish – Chrome (ACC144)

Astley is Kartell's traditional range, and its accessories carry the same period styling as the Astley close coupled toilet and Astley 2 tap hole basin: round stepped backplates and a polished chrome finish. Choose pieces from the set to give the whole room a matching look.

A wall-mounted soap dish in chrome with a white dish, for a bar of soap beside the basin or bath.

Choosing and using it

Because it is fixed to the wall rather than sitting on a ledge, water drains away from the soap rather than leaving it sitting in a puddle, so bars last longer. It is listed by Kartell at 155 x 115mm.

Fitting

Fit it beside the basin or bath at a comfortable reach, close enough that drips from wet hands fall back into the basin rather than onto the floor.

Kartell supply fixings with it. Before drilling, check they suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking.
