Kartell K-VIT Premium Towel Ring – Matt Black (ACC313)

Kartell K-VIT Premium Towel Ring – Matt Black (ACC313)

Premium is Kartell's range of brass bathroom accessories, with crisp square backplates and clean, modern lines, made in four finishes – chrome, matt black, brushed nickel and brushed brass – so the finishing touches can match the taps and shower in the rest of the room. This is the matt black version.

A towel ring with a long flat arm and an open end, for a hand towel beside the basin.

Choosing and using it

At 230mm across it takes a hand towel without bunching, and it stands 107mm out from the wall so the towel hangs clear. It takes up far less wall space than a towel bar.

Also available in Chrome, Brushed Nickel and Brushed Brass.

Fitting

Fit it just to the side of the basin at about 1100–1300mm from the floor, so the bottom of the towel hangs clear of the basin edge and worktop.

Before drilling, make sure the fixings you use suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking.

Looking after the finish

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and limescale removers, which can mark the finish.
