Kartell K-VIT Pure Towel Bar – Chrome (ACC160)

Kartell K-VIT Pure Towel Bar – Chrome (ACC160)

Pure is Kartell's clean-lined modern range, and its accessories share the crisp square backplates and polished chrome finish that match the Pure close coupled toilet, Pure basin and Pure mono basin mixer. Choose pieces from the set to give the whole room a matching look.

A chrome towel bar for hanging a bath or hand towel flat against the wall, where it can air and dry between uses.

Choosing and using it

It is 620mm long overall, so it suits a bath towel folded in half or two hand towels side by side. Before you buy, check there is a clear 620mm run of wall for the bar and its two square end brackets, free of switches, sockets and tile trims, and remember the bar stands 70mm out from the wall.

Fitting

Most towel bars are fitted at around 1100–1200mm from the floor beside the bath or shower so a towel is within reach as you step out. Mark both fixing points with a spirit level before drilling – a bar that is even slightly out of level is very noticeable with a towel hanging from it.

Kartell supply fixings with it. Before drilling, check they suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking.
