Kartell K-VIT Wire Double Corner Basket – Chrome (ACC102)

Kartell K-VIT Wire Double Corner Basket – Chrome (ACC102)

Wire is Kartell's range of chrome wire baskets for keeping the shower and bath tidy. The open wire construction lets water drain away and air circulate, so bottles, soap and sponges are not left sitting in standing water.

A two-tier chrome wire corner basket for the shower or bath – two baskets, one above the other, on a single frame.

Choosing and using it

It measures 210 x 210mm along the two walls and stands 300mm tall overall, with each basket 60mm deep. Two levels make it easy to keep one person's things apart from another's, or bottles on one shelf and soap and sponges on the other.

Fitting

Fit it within easy reach but out of the direct spray of the shower – for most people around chest height. Kartell supply fixings with it. Before drilling, check they suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking. In a shower, run a little silicone into each hole before inserting the plug so water cannot get behind the tiles.
