Kartell K-VIT Wire Hanging Shower Tidy – Chrome (ACC103)

Kartell K-VIT Wire Hanging Shower Tidy – Chrome (ACC103)

Wire is Kartell's range of chrome wire baskets for keeping the shower and bath tidy. The open wire construction lets water drain away and air circulate, so bottles, soap and sponges are not left sitting in standing water.

A two-basket chrome wire shower tidy that hangs from the two hooks at the top of its frame, giving two levels of storage.

Choosing and using it

It stands 557mm tall overall, with baskets 252 x 130mm – the upper one 75mm deep for bottles and the lower one 54mm deep for soap and sponges. It can hang over the top of a shower enclosure or from a rail, or be hung on the wall using the fixings Kartell supply. If you are hanging it over an enclosure or rail, check the hooks will fit over it and that there is room for the tidy to hang freely before ordering.

Fitting

Hang it so the baskets sit clear of the main spray, where bottles are within easy reach but are not being constantly soaked. If you are fixing it to the wall, check the supplied fixings suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed. In a shower, run a little silicone into each hole before inserting the plug so water cannot get behind the tiles.
