Warm honey gold under a crackled gloss glaze. This 38x235mm ceramic finger tile has the colour of set honey, deepening where the glaze pools and lightening on the edges, with a fine crackle running through it. It brings warmth to a white kitchen or a dark bathroom without going full yellow.

The narrow stick format is designed to be stacked vertically for a column effect, but it lays just as well horizontally or in a herringbone. It is at home on a kitchen splashback, behind a basin, in a shower niche or across a feature wall. For interior walls only.

Glazed ceramic is easy to wipe down and handles steam and splashes. Because the crackle forms during firing, no two tiles are quite the same, which is part of the appeal. Fifty tiles come in a box, covering 0.45 square metres.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.45 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

For walls, not floors. Spread a flexible wall adhesive thinly with a fine-notched trowel; too much will push up through the slim joints. Keep a 1-2mm joint and check vertical lines often, as narrow tiles show drift. Crackle glazes may take up grout colour, so test first and seal if needed. Blend tiles from more than one box.
