Sold by the box – 50 tiles per box, covering around 0.45m². Each 38x235mm tile is 0.009m², so a box works out at roughly £84.44 per m² (£0.76 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A white finger tile with a rustic matt glaze. Each 38x235mm ceramic stick has a soft, chalky white surface with the gentle irregularity of an aged, handmade tile, so a white wall has a little texture and warmth rather than a flat, clinical finish.

Stack it vertically for fine white pinstripes behind a basin or up a shower wall, run it horizontally along a kitchen upstand, or mix it with the olive or charcoal matt sticks for a striped scheme. It is a wall tile for interior use only.

The matt glaze is easy to wipe and does not glare under downlights. Variation between tiles is intended and part of the rustic look. Boxes hold 50 tiles and cover 0.45 square metres, so count the boxes for your area and add one for cuts.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.45 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Wall tile only. Use a flexible wall adhesive spread thinly with a fine-notched trowel to keep adhesive out of the 1-2mm joints. Mark vertical guide lines before starting. A white or light grey grout keeps it clean; wipe the matt surface before the grout dries, as residue is harder to shift later. Blend tiles from several boxes.
