Kartell K-VIT Supastyle Bath Panel – White Gloss (All Sizes)

The Supastyle is Kartell's standard bath panel – a plain white gloss front in three lengths, with matching end panels in two widths. Made from high-quality acrylic and backed by a 5-year manufacturer's guarantee, it is the straightforward, inexpensive way to close in a rectangular bath, and at around 5 to 6kg it is light enough for one person to handle and cut.

Kartell quote the height as 520mm. The technical drawing gives 530mm overall and 510mm to the step, with the panel 36mm deep – so 520mm is the figure to work to when you set the bath height.

The 700/750mm end panel covers both widths. It is made at 750mm and cut down on site to 700mm where that is what you need, which is why one code serves two sizes.

Do you need an end panel?

Only if one end of the bath is open, as in a corner layout. A bath in an alcove between two walls needs a front panel alone.

Before you order

Measure your bath, not the box it came in. Panel lengths are nominal – a 1700mm panel is cut to fit a 1700mm bath and is trimmed on site.
Check the rim height. The panel suits a bath set at around 520mm. Much higher and it will not reach; much lower and it has to be cut down.
Kartell pair this panel with the Proton contract bath, but it is a standard-sized panel rather than one made for a single model.

Fitting tips

Level the bath and set the rim height before cutting anything. Offer the panel up dry and mark it in place rather than measuring and cutting off the bath. Acrylic chips if it is allowed to flex while being cut, so support it well and work from the back face. Fix it so it can be removed again – it is the only way back to the waste and trap if they ever need attention.
