Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.50m². Each 500x1000mm tile is 0.5m², so a box works out at roughly £69.40 per m² (£34.70 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Sapphire takes the same weathered-metal surface and shifts it to steel blue and violet, the colours of heat-tempered or chemically patinated steel. The tones move across each tile in streaks and clouds, and the face has a light texture. It is darker and cooler than the rust version.

A 500x1000mm format keeps the patina readable at floor scale. It suits a modern kitchen floor, a hallway, a shower room wall or a feature wall in a living area where an industrial finish is wanted. Three tiles cover 1.50m², and boxes are sold whole.

This is a 10mm porcelain, textured and durable, listed for floors and also suitable for walls. A 1000x1000mm version of the same colour is available for larger floors, and a 20mm paving slab takes it outside.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.50 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

A large-format porcelain needs full adhesive contact: comb the floor with a 10mm or larger trowel and butter the back of each tile. Allow 3mm joints and use levelling clips to keep the surface flat. Decide the direction of the metal grain before you start and keep tiles consistent.
