Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £46.02 per m² (£16.57 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

This beige porcelain gives a room warmth without colour. The surface is matt and smooth, with a stone-effect print that is soft enough to read as plain from across the room. It is a good match for a conservatory or a north-facing kitchen where a grey floor would feel cold.

At 600x600mm the tile is a comfortable size for most rooms. It fits a bathroom floor without many awkward cuts and still looks substantial in a hallway. The same tile can be used on walls indoors, so it works as a full-room scheme.

Porcelain is dense and resists water and wear, which makes it suited to kitchens and bathrooms as well as hallways and living areas indoors. The two-layer print gives consistent colour from tile to tile. Three tiles per box cover 1.08 square metres, so allow some extra for cutting.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Bed on a flexible porcelain adhesive with full coverage on floors, and use a 2-3mm joint. A beige or sand grout keeps the surface uniform; a white grout will pick out the grid. Set out from the centre of the room and take tiles from two or three boxes at a time.
