Kartell K-VIT Easy Clean Click Bath Waste & Overflow – Brushed Brass (WAS020)

Kartell K-VIT Easy Clean Click Bath Waste & Overflow – Brushed Brass (WAS020)

A bath waste and overflow is a two-part fitting: the plug and outlet in the bottom of the bath, and the overflow cover at the top end, joined by a flexible pipe behind the bath. It is sold as one kit because the two have to work together.

This is the easy clean version: a click plug whose top lifts out, so you can reach in and clear the hair and scum that collects in a bath waste without tools, chemicals or taking anything apart.

Why that matters more on a bath

A bath waste sits under a bath, often boxed in behind a panel, and it catches far more hair than a basin does. When an ordinary bath waste blocks, getting to it is a genuine job. Being able to lift the top out and clear it from above is the difference between a two-minute task and an afternoon.

The same waste is also made in chrome, matt black and brushed nickel.

Before you order

Bath taps are almost never supplied with a waste, so on a new bath this is a separate buy — and it is the part people forget until the bath is in.

Check there is access behind the bath panel for the overflow pipe, and enough depth under the bath for the trap. On a low or panelled-in bath that clearance is the thing to measure.

Finish and looking after it

This is the brushed brass option, so it matches the Ottone range and any other brushed brass brassware.

Brushed brass is a warm, low-sheen finish that hides marks well. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and keep abrasives and limescale removers away — the brushed surface cannot be restored once it is cut through.

Kartell give the wastes a lifetime guarantee, as shown on the 2026 brochure.
