Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £77.22 per m² (£55.60 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Turquoise is the boldest shade in Cape May: a green-blue onyx with lighter bands, inspired by the colours of the Italian coast. In the natural matt finish the colour is rich but not reflective, which makes it easier to use over a whole floor or a large wall.

Each 600x1200mm tile shows a long run of the onyx banding, so a feature wall or floor has the scale of real slab stone. Use it in a bathroom, a kitchen or a ground-floor living space, and keep the other surfaces plain to let the colour carry the room.

A porcelain with a natural, slip-resistant finish rated PTV36+, so it is suitable for floors as well as walls. The polished turquoise tile from the same range makes a glossy companion for walls. Rated for indoor use on walls and floors.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Lay on a flat, primed base with a full bed of flexible porcelain adhesive on both tile and substrate, and fit levelling clips at every joint. A 2 to 3mm gap with a grey-green or mid grey grout suits the colour. Dry-lay first so the banding flows across the area. Lift with two fitters and cut on a wet saw.
