Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 2.88m². Each 1200x1200mm tile is 1.44m², so a box works out at roughly £77.22 per m² (£111.20 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Charleston Beige in its largest size. Each 1200x1200mm tile is a warm beige with delicate travertine markings, and at this scale the banding reads like a slab of honed stone. The matt surface keeps the colour mellow across a big area.

A slab this size is for open floors and large walls where joints should disappear. Two tiles cover 2.88m², so a 12m² kitchen floor takes around five boxes. It can be laid as a straight grid or offset by half for a more relaxed stone look.

It is porcelain, hard-wearing and suited to floors as well as walls, in kitchens, hallways, living areas and bathrooms. The same beige in 600x1200mm, 600x600mm and smaller formats lets you carry the colour into rooms where a slab would be too big.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 2.88 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Prepare a flat, rigid floor or wall; large slabs will not tolerate an uneven base. Use a flexible porcelain adhesive on both substrate and tile, a levelling system and 3mm joints. Two people should lift each tile. Blend from both boxes if the area is small.
