Sold by the box – 8 tiles per box, covering around 1.30m². Each 202x802mm tile is 0.162m², so a box works out at roughly £42.77 per m² (£6.95 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A pale, warm wood. Del Mar Light Beech has the honey tone and gentle grain of beech boards, with enough variation between planks to look like real timber. The matt surface keeps it soft and natural. It brightens a room and suits Scandinavian-style schemes.

The plank measures 202x802mm and lays like floorboards in a staggered bond, or at 45 degrees for a herringbone. Eight planks cover 1.30m². On a wall it works as a half-height panel or a full feature wall behind a basin.

Being porcelain it is waterproof and hard-wearing, so it suits bathrooms, kitchens and hallways where wood would mark. It is for indoor floors and walls. The same colour is also made in a textured anti-slip finish for outdoor use.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.30 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Lay on a level, solid base using a flexible porcelain adhesive on both the floor and the back of the plank. Offset the planks by a third rather than a half so any bow in the tile does not cause lipping. Keep a 2-3mm joint and use a beige or light brown grout. Blend boxes.
