Edisto Ocean Blue Victorian Style Matt Porcelain Border Floor Tile 285x93mm (Per Box of 7 Sheets)

Sold by the box – 7 pieces per box, covering about 2.0m in a straight run. That is £14.43 per piece. Full boxes only.

The border strip for the ocean blue Edisto Victorian floor. Each piece is a run of small matt porcelain tiles on a mesh backing, laid as one unit, with an effective size of 285x93mm including a 2 to 3mm joint and an overall length of 310mm to the tip of the end square.

Seven border pieces come in a box and cover about 2 linear metres along the edge of the floor. Run it round the room between the patterned field and the skirting, with the 93x93mm corner sheet at each turn, and the floor reads like an original period hallway.

Porcelain, matt and for indoor floors. It is made to match the ocean blue 338x338mm patterned sheet in the same range, so the blues are the same tone and the joint sizes line up.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the length of the run in metres, add a little for cuts, divide by 2.0 and round up to the next whole box. Buy all your boxes together so the pieces come from the same batch.

Fitting notes

Lay the patterned field first, then set the border out from the corners so the corner sheets land square. Fix with a flexible cementitious adhesive and a fine-notched trowel, pressing each border strip flat, and keep the same 2 to 3mm joint between border and field as within the sheets. Grout with a flexible grout.

Edisto recreates a Victorian patterned floor on 338x338mm sheets in ocean blue, emerald green and mixed grey, with a matching border sheet and 93x93mm corner sheet in ocean blue and emerald green so the field can be framed with a traditional border. See every Edisto tile.
