Sold by the box – 12 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 300x300mm tile is 0.09m², so a box works out at roughly £46.02 per m² (£4.14 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Florence Autumn Grey is a slate-effect flagstone in a 300x300mm square. The grey has warm, autumnal undertones, with the layered surface and soft edge of aged stone. The finish is matt, so it reads as weathered slate rather than polished stone.

This is the smallest of the three modular sizes. Used on its own it makes a compact, cottage-style floor; mixed with the 300x500mm and 500x500mm it becomes part of a random flagstone pattern. Twelve tiles to a box cover 1.08m².

Porcelain through and through, the tile suits floors and walls indoors, from kitchens and hallways to bathrooms and conservatories. It does not need sealing. Keep the colour to one tone or mix it with the pale grey for a more varied floor.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Modular flagstone layouts are easier if you plan the pattern on paper first. Bed the tiles on a flexible porcelain adhesive, back-buttered on floors, with a 3-5mm joint to suit the rustic edge. A grey or stone-coloured grout settles the pattern. Mix tiles from several boxes for the best spread of tone.
