Why It Matters

A bath panel is the largest flat surface in most bathrooms after the walls and the floor, and a plain white acrylic one undoes the effect of everything else in the room. This one is made to match the Astley vanity, WC and side units — same panelled front, same finish — so the bath reads as part of the scheme rather than a leftover.

Measure Your Bath Length

This is the measurement that matters here. A 1700mm and an 1800mm bath look almost identical once fitted, and the panels are not interchangeable, so measure rather than assume.

Both are fractionally under the nominal size so they sit within the bath frame rather than fouling on it, and both stand 480mm high with a 100mm recessed plinth at the base, which lets the panel sit back at floor level and cope with a floor that is not perfectly true.

Do You Also Need an End Panel?

Only if one end of your bath is open to the room. A bath in an alcove needs this front panel alone. If an end is exposed, add a matching end panel — sized 700mm, 750mm or 800mm by the width of the bath, which is a different measurement entirely.
