Kartell K-VIT Astley 600mm Floor Standing Vanity Unit with Ceramic Basin (FUR520AS)

Kartell K-VIT Astley 600mm Floor Standing Vanity Unit with Ceramic Basin (FUR520AS)

A traditional two door vanity unit supplied complete with its ceramic basin. Choose Matt Grey or Matt White above — both the same price. Recessed panel doors, chrome cup handles included, and made in Britain.

Traditional, Properly Done

Astley is the range to look at if a flat slab front would look wrong in your house. The doors carry a recessed shaker panel and the handles are cup pulls rather than bar handles — the detail that separates a modern unit in a heritage colour from something that actually belongs in a period bathroom.

Both finishes are matt rather than gloss, which hides fingerprints and water marks far better. The matt grey is soft and muted rather than cold; the matt white is chalkier and warmer than a gloss white.

Worth Knowing Before You Order

At 916mm high this is taller than most bathroom vanities, which typically sit around 850mm. The extra height is deliberate — it puts the basin at a more comfortable working level for most adults — but it is worth checking against a window sill, a splashback or a mirror you have already positioned.

It is also 470mm deep, so measure the projection into the room before committing.
