Storage Where There Is No Room For It

This is the unit for the awkward gap — beside a bath, next to a doorway, in the corner a vanity cannot reach. It takes the towels, the cleaning things and the spare toiletries that otherwise pile up on the windowsill.

At 1600mm it is joint tallest in the Kartell furniture collection, a full 400mm above the 1200mm cabinets in the Dove, Urban and Sanctuary ranges. Being wall mounted, the floor stays clear beneath it: easier to mop around, and the run of visible floor keeps a small room from feeling crowded.

Check the Wall — This Is the Important One

At 26.3kg empty this is heavier than either of the 500mm vanity units, and unlike them it carries its entire weight on wall fixings rather than standing on the floor. Add towels and it is heavier still.

It needs a solid wall, or a stud wall with proper noggins behind the plasterboard, and fixings rated for the load. If there is any doubt about the wall, ask your fitter before ordering — and have a second pair of hands when you hang it.
