Kartell K-VIT Trim 550mm Vanity Unit with Semi Recessed Basin - White Gloss

Kartell K-VIT Trim 550mm Vanity Unit with Semi Recessed Basin – White Gloss

A complete vanity in one order — the cabinet, the semi recessed basin and both handles, ready to fit.

What a Semi Recessed Basin Gives You

The basin sits partly into the cabinet rather than fully on top of it, so the bowl projects forward while the unit behind stays shallow. You get a full sized basin without the cabinet eating into the room — which is why this arrangement turns up so often in smaller bathrooms and cloakrooms.

It also leaves usable worktop either side of the bowl, which a fully inset basin does not.

What's Included

• POT474TR — Trim 550mm semi recessed basin, single tap hole
• IMP550VU — Impakt 550mm vanity unit in white gloss, soft close doors
• HAN008 × 2 — chrome handles, both supplied

Handles are included, unlike several of the Kartell furniture ranges where they are a separate purchase. If you would prefer matt black, the HAN009 handle is available separately on this site.

Trim or Pure?

The two vanity sets are the same price and use exactly the same Impakt cabinet and chrome handles — only the basin differs, and the two are very close. Both are 550mm semi recessed with a single tap hole and both read as square; the Trim basin is the more sharply squared of the two, the Pure very slightly softer at the corners. It is a difference you would struggle to spot in a photograph.

So the choice is really about matching: if you are fitting Trim sanitaryware elsewhere in the room, take this one; if you are fitting Pure, take that one. Either way the cabinet is identical.
