Kartell K-VIT Options 24 500mm Mirror Cabinet (OPT500MIR)

Kartell K-VIT Options 24 500mm Mirror Cabinet (OPT500MIR)

A double door mirrored wall cabinet, mirrored inside and out. Choose White Gloss or Matt Cool Grey above.

A Mirror That Earns Its Place

The wall above a basin is usually the most wasted space in a bathroom — there is a mirror there anyway, so it may as well hold something. This puts the toothpaste, the razors and the paracetamol behind the glass instead of on the windowsill.

Two doors rather than one means you can open either side without swinging a wide door across the room, and the shelves inside are usable at both ends.

Hanging It

At 600mm high and 500mm wide it sits neatly above the 500mm vanity unit without overhanging, and projects only 160mm from the wall so it will not catch you leaning over the basin.

At 11.3kg with glass doors it needs a secure fixing — a solid wall, or a stud wall with proper noggins behind the plasterboard.

500mm or 600mm?

Both are 600mm high and 160mm deep — only the width differs. Match it to the vanity unit below for a tidy result: the 500mm cabinet over the 500mm unit, the 600mm over the 600mm.
