Hatteras Calacatta Gold Marble Effect Polished Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 300x600mm (Per Box of 6 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 6 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £42.96 per m² (£7.73 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

In 300x600mm the polished calacatta tile is a natural fit for bathroom walls and splashbacks. The warm white ground carries fine grey and gold veins, and the gloss surface throws light around a small room. The veining is scattered, so no two tiles look quite alike.

Six tiles per box cover 1.08m². Lay them in a brick bond, a stacked grid or vertical columns behind a basin or in a shower. The colour matches the larger polished calacatta tiles, so a 600x600mm floor can meet a 300x600mm wall without a change in tone.

Rectified porcelain for walls and floors indoors. The polished glaze is non-porous, stain-resistant and simple to wipe, and it keeps its shine. On a floor the gloss will show footprints and splashes, so it is more commonly used on walls in a busy household.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a flexible porcelain adhesive, back-buttering each wall tile so it sits flat. A 2mm joint with a warm white grout suits the rectified edge. Lay from mixed boxes, keep the gloss face clean of adhesive as you go, and tank any shower background first.

This polished calacatta is one of three Hatteras marble effects – with white and a gold-veined ivory – each in polished and matt and in 300x600mm, 600x600mm and 600x1200mm. A 1200x1200mm gold polished, a white 20mm outdoor slab and a black glass mosaic complete the range. See every Hatteras tile.
