Sold by the box – 4 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £42.92 per m² (£15.45 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The polished calacatta square: warm white, fine grey and gold veins and a 600x600mm size with a glass-like shine. On a bathroom floor it brightens the room; on a wall it gives a classic marble look with the easy care of porcelain rather than stone.

Four tiles per box, 1.44m². Square tiles are simple to set out from the centre of a room and cut neatly at the edges, and this size pairs with the 300x600mm and 600x1200mm polished calacatta tiles. A warm white grout keeps the grid quiet.

Porcelain, rectified, suited to walls and floors indoors. The polished surface sheds water and stains and wipes clean in a moment, and the colour is permanent. Like all gloss tiles it highlights footprints and water spots, so expect to mop more often than with matt.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Bed each tile fully in a flexible porcelain adhesive on a flat base, as a polished face shows every hollow as lippage. Use a 2 to 3mm joint with a warm white grout. Work from several boxes at once and clean adhesive off the surface before it dries.
