Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £52.29 per m² (£37.65 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The matt version of the gold-veined Hatteras tile keeps the warm ivory ground and the sweeping gold and grey veining but drops the shine for a soft, natural surface. In 600x1200mm the veins run almost the full length of the tile, giving a slab-like look on floors and walls.

Two tiles cover 1.44m² per box. The plank proportion works stacked vertically on a tall wall, or laid in a third-offset bond across a floor to hide any lipping. It sits comfortably alongside the polished version of the same colour if you want a sheen on the wall and a softer surface on the floor.

Porcelain with rectified edges, suited to indoor walls and floors. A matt finish hides water marks and footprints better than a polished one and does not need buffing to look its best. The colour is fired in, so it will not wear or fade with use.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Lay onto a flat, primed background with a flexible porcelain adhesive, combing the bed and back-buttering each 1200mm tile so it is fully supported. Keep joints to 2 to 3mm and grout with a warm neutral shade. Two people make handling the tiles easier and reduce the chance of edge chips.
