Hatteras White Marble Effect Matt Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 600x1200mm (Per Box of 2 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £52.29 per m² (£37.65 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A clean white marble effect with soft grey veining in a satin-smooth matt finish. On a 600x1200mm tile the veins run in long, loose strokes, giving a quiet, natural look rather than a busy one. The white is bright but not stark, so it works with warm and cool schemes alike.

Two tiles per box, covering 1.44m². The plank size suits large bathroom walls, open-plan floors and kitchen splashback-to-ceiling runs, with fewer joints than a square tile. It lines up with the 600x600mm and 300x600mm white matt tiles for mixed layouts across a room.

It is porcelain with rectified edges, for indoor walls and floors. A matt white surface shows less in the way of water marks and smears than a polished one, and the dense body resists staining and wear, making it a sound choice for a family bathroom or a busy hallway.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a flexible porcelain adhesive on a flat, primed background, back-buttering each tile and bedding it fully; a 600x1200mm tile shows any hollow spots as lippage. Keep joints narrow with a white or pale grey grout. Have two people lift and position each piece to avoid chipping the edges.

The white matt belongs to a Hatteras family that also includes calacatta gold and a gold-veined ivory, each polished or matt in 300x600mm, 600x600mm and 600x1200mm. A 1200x1200mm gold polished tile, a 20mm white outdoor slab and a black linear glass mosaic complete the collection. See every Hatteras tile.
