Sold by the box – 6 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £42.96 per m² (£7.73 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

This 300x600mm polished tile puts a bright white marble effect with soft grey veins on a high-gloss surface. It is the handiest size in the white polished set for bathroom walls, shower areas and splashbacks, where a reflective finish helps a small room feel open.

Six tiles per box cover 1.08m². The rectangle sits well in a brick bond, a stacked grid or a vertical stack behind a basin, and it matches the larger polished white sizes if a floor needs a bigger format. The pale veining keeps the finished wall mostly white.

Porcelain with rectified edges, for walls and floors indoors. The polished glaze does not absorb water or stain, and it cleans with a damp cloth. It does show fingerprints and splashes more than a matt tile, so it tends to be chosen for walls rather than a heavily used floor.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a flexible porcelain adhesive, back-buttering wall tiles so the gloss face sits dead flat. The rectified edge suits a 2mm joint with a white grout. Mix tiles from different boxes, and wipe adhesive off the polished surface straight away so it does not dull the shine.
