Hyannis Botanical Floral Satin Porcelain Wall Tile 600x1200mm (Box of 2 Panels)

Sold as a box of 2 panels. Each panel measures 600x1200mm.

Botanical is drawn in the manner of a plant illustration: individual stems, leaves and flower heads picked out in greens against a lighter ground, with more air around each plant than the jungle or paradise designs. It is detailed up close and restful from across the room.

A box supplies two 600x1200mm panels, joining to a 1200x1200mm picture and covering 1.44m². One box is enough for a feature above a bath or behind a bed; a row of boxes along a hallway or kitchen wall turns the whole surface into the print.

Satin, semi-polished porcelain for indoor walls. The porcelain body does not absorb water, so the panels can go in a bathroom or behind a kitchen worktop where paper would fail, and they wipe clean. Each box is made to order with a lead time of roughly three to four weeks.

Specification

Working out how many you need

Measure the area or run you are covering, allow 10% extra for cuts and breakages, and order the full quantity together so everything comes from the same batch.

Fitting notes

Set the two panels out on the floor and check the stems line up across the join. Use a flexible large-format porcelain adhesive on a flat, primed wall, with a full back-butter on each piece. A fine joint grouted in a shade close to the background keeps the illustration continuous.

Botanical sits among nine Hyannis mural designs – shadow leaves, paradise, plumage, folk art, kentia palm, jungle, autumn and areca palm are the others – each supplied as a pair of 600x1200mm satin porcelain panels that can be used singly or combined. See every Hyannis tile.
