Description
Description
Sold by the box – 14 sheets per box, covering around 1.13m². Each 285x285mm sheet is 0.081m², so a box works out at roughly £235.66 per m² (£19.02 a sheet). We only supply full boxes.
Red is the most traditional of the colourways: the geometric pattern in terracotta red with cream and darker pieces, close to what was laid in Victorian hallways across the country. The porcelain is matt and unglazed, so it has the dry, soft look of the original clay tiles.
Supplied on 285x285mm mesh sheets, each laid as one piece, which keeps the pattern true and makes fitting far quicker than loose tiles. Period hallways and paths are the obvious setting; it also works in a kitchen, a downstairs cloakroom or a conservatory.
A dense porcelain made for indoor floors and heavy foot traffic. Each box contains 14 sheets and covers 1.13m². The matching 93x93mm insets add focal points, and border and corner sheets from the same family complete the layout.

Working out how many boxes
Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.13 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.
Fitting notes
Lay the sheets as whole units on a flat, level floor with a flexible adhesive and a fine-notched trowel. Line up the pattern across sheet edges before pressing down, and keep the joint between sheets the same width as the joints inside them. Grout with a narrow-joint grout and clean off promptly.

Across the Jekyll range the Victorian pattern comes in beige, yellow, red and black and white 285x285mm sheets, and there are four 93x93mm insets, Leaf Cross, Cross Roundel, Rosette Roundel and Quatrefoil, to set into the panels; Sag Harbor borders and corners finish the edge.
