Sold by the box – 7 tiles per box, covering around 1.26m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £38.25 per m² (£6.89 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Cobalt is a proper blue, deep and bright at the same time, and the gloss glaze on this brick tile makes it look wet. Each brick in the pattern carries a little variation in depth of colour, so a wall has the aged, hand-glazed quality of old blue bricks rather than a flat printed blue.

Think of it as a feature colour. A single wall behind a basin, a kitchen splashback or the inside of a shower niche is enough to make the point, with the white brick from the same range elsewhere. The 300x600mm porcelain format carries the brick pattern, with seven tiles to a box covering 1.26m².

Suitable for indoor walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories and living areas. On a floor the gloss shows footprints more than a matt tile, so most people keep it to walls and use it underfoot only in small areas.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.26 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a cementitious adhesive and full back coverage. Keep 2 to 3mm joints and set out so the printed bricks run through from tile to tile. A dark blue or grey grout keeps the pattern reading as brickwork; white grout turns the tile joints into a grid. Mix boxes as you go.
