Sold by the box – 36 tiles per box, covering around 0.52m². Each 240x60mm tile is 0.0144m², so a box works out at roughly £54.04 per m² (£0.78 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The blue here sits between aqua and teal, deep enough to read as a proper colour but bright under its gloss glaze. Variation from tile to tile is deliberate, so some bricks lean greener and some bluer. Together they give a wall the look of water rather than paint.

In a bathroom it makes a calm, spa-like wall, especially around a bath or inside a shower. The 240x60mm brick also suits a kitchen splashback or a strip of colour in a hallway. Lay it in a half-bond, stacked, or vertically to draw the eye up.

It is a porcelain tile approved for walls and floors, inside and out, and the glossy surface is easy to clean after cooking or showering. Boxes contain 36 tiles, which is close to 0.52m² of coverage, and the tile is sold in full boxes only.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.52 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Porcelain is dense, so use a flexible adhesive rather than a standard ready-mixed paste, and fix floor tiles on a full bed. Grout joints of 2 to 3mm suit the brick size. Lay out a few square metres dry first to check how the varied shades balance.
