Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £38.19 per m² (£27.50 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Layers of dark grey, silver and graphite run across this 600x1200mm tile in the banded pattern of split quartzite, so the face looks like a slab of rugged stone rather than a flat print. The surface is matt and the colour sits at the charcoal end of grey.

At 600x1200mm it is a true large format, with two tiles per box covering 1.44m². It is sized for feature walls, kitchen splashbacks and open floors where you want as few joints as possible, and it stands out behind a bath or along a hallway.

Porcelain, rated for walls and floors indoors, and suited to kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and living spaces. A matching white version and a 20mm outdoor paving slab exist in the Monterey range. This grey is on limited stock, so order the full quantity for the job in one go.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

A 1200mm tile needs a flat substrate and an adhesive bed on both the wall or floor and the back of the tile, using a flexible cementitious adhesive and a large-notch trowel. Use a levelling system to stop lipping, keep 2 to 3mm joints, offset brick bond by no more than a third and grout with a flexible grout.
