Kartell K-VIT Uni One Universal Standard Soft Close Toilet Seat – White (SEA001UN)

Kartell K-VIT Uni One Universal Standard Soft Close Toilet Seat – White (SEA001UN)

The Kartell K-VIT Uni One is a universal seat — designed to fit a wide range of standard toilet pans rather than one particular Kartell range. With adjustable hinges spanning 410–490mm, it suits most common pan sizes, which makes it the practical choice when you do not know the make or model of the toilet you already have.

Moulded in polypropylene, it is the most affordable seat Kartell make. The soft close mechanism lowers the lid gently instead of letting it drop, and top fixing means it can be fitted from above without reaching behind the pan.

Replacing an Old Seat?

Measure two things before ordering: the width of your existing seat at its widest point, and the distance between the two fixing holes at the back of the pan. This seat suits pans up to 375mm wide with hinge centres in the 410–490mm range.

Kartell also specify this seat for the Proton low level pan (PROLLPAN), and it is included in the complete low level options on that page.

Standard or Premium?

The SEA002UN Uni Two is the same universal fitting in duroplast — heavier and more solid, and better suited to daily family use. This polypropylene version is the sensible choice for a rental, a second WC or an occasional-use cloakroom.

Finishing Touch

Hinge cover caps are available separately — CPS101BB in brushed brass or CPS600BL in matt black.
