A quadrant enclosure curves between two walls, so it tucks into a corner without sharp corners projecting into the room. This is the Kartell K-VIT KV8 version — a single sliding door on a curved track, in 8mm toughened glass at a full 1950mm tall, with an easy-clean coating so water beads and runs off rather than drying into limescale.

Single door, and what that means

Most quadrant enclosures use two curved sliding doors that meet in the middle. This one has a single door that slides around the curve. Fewer moving parts and a cleaner look — but it's worth knowing the entry is 460mm, narrower than the 500mm you'd get from the twin-door Koncept quadrant at the same 900mm size.

If access matters more than the look, the Koncept is the better buy and costs less. If you want 8mm glass, the extra 100mm of height and the easy-clean coating, this is the one.

Measuring up

This is a square quadrant, so both wall runs are equal at 900mm. Measure along each wall at floor level — the enclosure adjusts between 860 and 880mm, so about 20mm of tolerance for walls that aren't true. There's only one size, so if your corner falls outside that range you'll need a different range altogether.

You'll need a tray

Supplied without a tray. It needs a matching 900mm quadrant tray — a square tray won't follow the curve. Kartell's Unity quadrant trays come in 900mm in both low profile and anti-slip.

At 44kg boxed this is a two-person lift.
