Sold by the box – 25 tiles per box, covering around 0.25m². Each 70x140mm tile is 0.01m², so a box works out at roughly £60.40 per m² (£0.60 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A deep charcoal grey brick with a gloss glaze that shifts from near-black in shadow to a soft sheen in the light. The slightly uneven, handmade-style surface keeps a dark wall from looking flat, and the 70x140mm size breaks it into a fine, lively grid.

Boxes of 25 give 0.25m². It works well as a full splashback behind a kitchen worktop, as a shower wall against white walls elsewhere, or mixed with the light grey and white tiles from the same range for a tonal stripe. Vertical stacking adds height in a cloakroom.

Glazed ceramic for indoor walls only. The gloss glaze is non-porous and wipes clean, which is useful on a dark tile where streaks could otherwise show. It is light and easy to cut, and the colour and surface vary slightly from tile to tile by design.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.25 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a standard wall tile adhesive on a sound, flat background, combing with a small notch. Grout at 2 to 3mm; a charcoal or dark grey grout keeps the wall solid, a white one turns it into a bold grid. Blend from several boxes and wipe grout haze off the gloss promptly.
