Sold by the box – 25 tiles per box, covering around 0.25m². Each 70x140mm tile is 0.01m², so a box works out at roughly £60.40 per m² (£0.60 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Light grey is the quiet neutral of the Stonington range: a pale, cool shade under a gloss glaze with the gentle unevenness of a handmade tile. It reads almost silver when the light catches it and sits comfortably with white sanitaryware, chrome and pale timber.

Each box of 25 covers 0.25m², and the 70x140mm brick lends itself to a stacked or offset bond. It makes a calm splashback on its own, or a soft contrast band against the white or dark grey tiles from the same range on a bathroom wall.

The tile is glazed ceramic for indoor walls. It is thin and light, cuts cleanly on a hand cutter and needs only a wipe to keep clean. Surface variation from tile to tile is built in, so expect subtle differences in tone and shine across a wall.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.25 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a standard wall tile adhesive on a flat, dry surface and a small notched trowel. Set out from the centre of the wall so cuts are even at both ends. A 2 to 3mm joint with a light grey grout blends in; white grout makes each brick stand out. Work from mixed boxes.
