Sold by the box – 36 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 100x300mm tile is 0.03m², so a box works out at roughly £35.00 per m² (£1.05 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Westport Dark Brown Gloss is a deep chocolate brown ceramic wall tile with a high-gloss glaze. The shine lifts the dark colour and reflects light around the room, so a wall of it looks rich rather than heavy. The format is a 100x300mm linear brick.

The gloss brown is made to be mixed. Run it with the matt dark brown for a two-sheen wall, or band it between light brown and beige for a striped feature panel. Each box holds thirty-six tiles and covers 1.08m². Lay in running bond, stacked or vertical.

It is a ceramic tile for indoor walls only and is not suitable for floors. Rooms include bathrooms, wet rooms, kitchens, hallways and living areas. The gloss surface wipes clean easily, though it will show water spots more than the matt version.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a wall tile adhesive on a flat, dry wall with a 6mm notch and 2-3mm joints. Dark brown or black grout keeps the wall seamless; a light grout picks out each brick. Wall use only. Gloss tiles show any lipping, so check the wall is flat before you start.
