Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.05m². Each 350x1000mm tile is 0.35m², so a box works out at roughly £55.43 per m² (£19.40 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

At 350x1000mm this is the larger of the two Whidbey grey decors, and the extra length lets the structured relief run further before it meets a joint. The surface is the same calm mid grey stone print as the plain tiles, matt finished, with the raised pattern adding shadow and texture.

The plank format is made for a feature wall in a bathroom, a hallway or behind a kitchen run, laid horizontally in a brick bond or stacked. Rectified edges keep the joints slim. It is a wall tile only; use the grey 592x592mm porcelain for the floor.

Being ceramic it is lighter than a porcelain of this size and simpler to cut, which matters when fitting a metre-long tile around a window or a shower screen. Three tiles are supplied per box, covering 1.05 square metres.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.05 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

For interior walls only. Use a flexible wall adhesive and back-butter each plank so the relief is supported along its full length. A metre-long tile needs a flat wall; check with a straightedge first. Set out from a level line, keep a 2mm joint with clips, and sponge grout from the texture before it cures.
