AKW 1200 Series Curved Satin Stainless Steel Grab Rail – Choice of Length

The AKW 1200 Series curved satin stainless steel grab rail is a modern, understated grab rail that looks at home in a contemporary bathroom. A gently curved 32mm tube in satin (brushed) 304 stainless steel gives a secure handhold for moving around the bathroom, stepping in and out of the shower, or sitting down on and standing up from the toilet. Concealed fixings and a minimalist profile mean it blends into the room until it is needed.

Choose from 200mm, 300mm or 400mm lengths. Each rail is tested to a maximum load of 150kg.

Choosing your length

Installation notes

A grab rail is only as strong as the wall it is fixed to. Always use fixings suited to the wall type (solid masonry, timber stud or plasterboard with noggins or a pattress board) and fit the rail with every fixing point used. Wall fixings are not normally supplied, because the right fixing depends on your wall. Check for hidden pipes and cables before drilling. Where a rail is being fitted for a specific person, an occupational therapist can advise on the best height and position.
