AKW Alveo wall panel profiles are the satin anodised aluminium trims made to finish the Alveo PVC wall panel system. Each profile is 2500mm long to match the panel height and gives a crisp, modern edge that protects the panel and keeps water out.

Choose the profile you need for each part of the job – internal and external corners, H-sections to join panels, end caps for exposed edges, a bottom/top profile, and a trim for where the panels meet vinyl wet room flooring.

Which Alveo profile do I need?

Internal corner – where two panelled walls meet in an inside corner. External corner – outside corners, boxing and returns. H-section – joins two panels where you are not using the tongue & groove edge. End cap – finishes an exposed edge. Bottom / top profile – finishes the top and bottom of the panels. Vinyl flooring trim – where panels meet safety vinyl flooring.

Why wall panels for adaptations? Wall panels are much quicker to fit than tiles – often a single day for a shower area – with far less dust and mess, which matters when someone is living in the home. There is no grout to discolour or harbour mould, and the large surfaces are easy for carers and cleaners to wipe down.

Installation notes

• Cut profiles with a fine-toothed saw and remove any burrs.
• Dry-fit before fixing.
• Seal profiles to the panels with a bathroom-grade silicone.

Do these come in other colours?

AKW supplies the Alveo profiles in satin aluminium only.

Do I need an H-section between every panel?

No. Alveo panels have tongue & groove edges, so on a flat wall they lock together without an H-section. Use the H-section where panels meet without the tongue & groove, for example after cutting.

Which profile meets a vinyl wet room floor?

Choose the Vinyl Flooring Trim (27837).
